1992 Little Sun High School Baseball Prospects 30-Card Set-Only 3,000 sets were produced; serial-numbered #1383/3000
This set features the FIRST CARD of New York Yankees legend Derek Jeter, as well as future Major Leaguers Jason Kendall, Preston Wilson, Damon Hollins, and Tom Evans.
1,000 of the 3,000 sets included a certified autograph card, with Jeter, Kendall, Dave Landaker and Chad Roper each signing 250 cards.
The odds of opening a set with an autograph are 1 in 3; the odds of opening a set and hitting a JETER AUTOGRAPH are 1 in 12!!
I have included scans of the Jeter Rookie Card that is included in EVERY SET, as well as the Jeter autographed card that was found in one of every 12 factory-sealed sets.
I have also included a scan of the "Holy Grail" of Jeter cards ... the Jeter autograph from this set, graded a GEM MINT 10 by PSA. That card sold on e-Bay for $60,000 on May 15, 2019! PSA 9 (Mint) versions of this card sell for between $5,000 and $7,500!
